GRIKI Consulting, LLC (“GRIKI”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Please read this policy statement carefully and contact GRIKI if you have any questions about GRIKI’s privacy practices. It is important that you check back often for updates to this policy statement. If GRIKI makes changes GRIKI considers to be important, GRIKI will contact you using methods such as email.
Information collected when you visit the GRIKI website
When you visit the GRIKI website you may be asked to enter your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. You may send GRIKI a message and digital documents via its web site. Your contact information and the messages and digital documents you send GRIKI (the “Information”) will be maintained on GRIKI’s servers and, when you contact GRIKI through its Facebook page on Facebooks’ servicers. The Information is collected when you choose to enter it on GRIKI’s webpage or Facebook page.
How GRIKI uses personal information
GRIKI possesses personal information for the following services:
Account set-up and administration. GRIKI uses personal information such as your name, e-mail address and phone number to set up and administer your account, to provide coaching services and to verify your identity.
Personalization. GRIKI uses personal information to receive and deliver tailored content such as drafts of resumes, life plans and budgets.
Legal obligations. Information may be used for legal purposes by GRIKI, in court or in the stages leading to possible legal action arising from improper use of this application or the related services. In accessing this website, a user acknowledges and declares that he or she is aware that GRIKI may be required to reveal Information upon request of public authorities.
GRIKI may be required to use and retain personal information for legal and compliance purposes, such as the prevention, detection or investigation of a crime, loss prevention or fraud.

When GRIKI shares personal information
GRIKI shares personal information when it believes it is required such as to comply with legal obligations and respond to requests from government agencies, including law enforcement and other public authorities, which may include such authorities outside your state or country of residence.
Where GRIKI stores your personal information
GRIKI is an independent entity that does not deal with any third parties other than its clients, being young adults and their parents. Information that is collected by GRIKI is stored locally and on Google Drive/gmail for internal purposes only. GRIKI may also store Information with cloud back-up providers such as Carbonite or IDrive. GRIKI takes steps to ensure that the information it collects is processed according to this policy statement and the requirements of applicable law wherever the data is stored.
Retention time
Your information is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by you and for as long as GRIKI reasonably requires it for legal or business purposes. In determining data retention periods, GRIKI takes into consideration local laws and contractual obligations. When GRIKI no longer needs personal information it will securely delete or destroy it.
Connecting via social networks
You may choose to use your own social networking logins from, for example, Facebook, to access GRIKI Services. Those services may collect information such as the web pages you visited and IP addresses, and may set cookies to enable features to function properly. GRIKI is not responsible for the security or privacy of any information collected by these third parties. You should review the privacy statements or policies applicable to the third-party services you connect to, use, or access. If you do not want your personal information shared with your social media account provider or other users of the social media service, please do not connect to GRIKI via your social media account.
Other third party collection of personal information
You will interact with GRIKI personnel using FaceTime, Skype or Google Hangout. Those services may collect information such as the web pages you visited and IP addresses, and may set cookies to enable features to function properly. GRIKI is not responsible for the security or privacy of any information collected by these third parties. You should review the privacy statements or policies applicable to the third-party services you connect to, use, or access.
Cookies
Some of the services listed above may use cookies to identify users or they may use the behavioral retargeting technique, i.e. displaying ads tailored to a user=s interests and behavior, including those detected outside GRIKI. For more information, please check the privacy policies of the relevant services.
Do not track
Some browsers transmit Do Not Track (DNT) signals to websites. Due to the lack of a common interpretation of DNT signals throughout the industry, GRIKI does not currently alter, change, or respond to DNT requests or signals from these browsers. GRIKI will continue to monitor industry activity in this area and reassess its DNT practices as necessary. To determine whether any of the third party services it uses honor the “Do Not Track” requests, please read their privacy policies.
Children’s privacy
GRIKI provides personal coaching to young adults and its services are generally not aimed at children under the age of 13. If, however, GRIKI collects and uses information about children under the age of 13 it will comply with industry guidelines and applicable laws.
Changes to this privacy policy
GRIKI reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to its users on this page. It is strongly recommended that users check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. If a user objects to any of the changes to the policy, the user must cease using this application and can request that GRIKI remove the user’s Information subject to the limitations to such removal set forth above. Unless stated otherwise, the then-current privacy policy applies to all Information GRIKI has about users.
